Serbia. Facade of a tailor shop for men and women on the outskirts of Belgrade
I would like to know who has had the courtesy to buy my images. This is purely out of curiosity, as I feel an emotional attachment to each piece and I only pretend to know more about the person who enjoys my work. Dragoljub Gaja
Hello, Belgrade is my home town and those scenes of today non-existing shops are simply excellent . As far as I understood, those photos were made in 1976. Right?
Juan Carlos Ferro Duque replied:
Thank you Dragoljub (Хвала лепо). These pictures belong to my first exhibition in April 1976. In the foreword to the catalog, Momo Kapor says: "Godinama sa setom posmatramo kako padaju straćare u prah i pepeo pod nemilosrdnim gusenica buldožera, tamo gde se završavaju tramvajske linije broj šest i broj sedam i trebalo je da u taj kraj jednog dana zaluta Kubanac JCF, Beogradjanin po srcu i ljubavi za sve što iščezava sa trotoara, pa da nam otkrije lepotu starih fasada kojih sutra više neće biti"
